AN IDEA IN THE MAKING · HELP SHAPE IT

You built the product.
Now build the business.

You can build software on your own. Finding people who'll actually pay for it is the harder bit.

We're exploring WSS Solo, a hands-on, AI-native growth accelerator for solo founders with a product to sell and no sales or marketing team behind them.

No pitch, no payment, no product to buy yet. We're looking for honest feedback.

01 / THE PROBLEM

Shipping is easier than ever.
Selling still isn't.

AI has made it possible to do the work of a small product team on your own. But a working product isn't the same as a working business.

01
◎

You've launched. Now what?

The product exists, but you're not sure who's most likely to pay, what to say, or where to find them.

02
↗

Growth feels like guesswork.

A bit of LinkedIn, some cold emails, maybe ads. Lots of activity without a clear signal.

03
✳

You're doing every job.

Builder, marketer, salesperson and customer support. You need systems that help without hiring a whole team.

02 / THE IDEA

Less learning.
More doing.

What if a small group of solo founders spent four focused weeks putting a customer acquisition system in place, with expert guidance, useful AI workflows and real accountability?

WEEK01

Know exactly who buys

Sharpen your ideal customer, positioning and offer using actual buyer conversations, not another AI-generated persona.

WEEK02

Find a way to reach them

Choose one channel and put a real customer acquisition experiment in market, with messaging and a simple pipeline to track it.

WEEK03

Make AI do useful work

Set up practical workflows for research, prospecting support, follow-ups and measurement, while keeping you in control.

WEEK04

Know what to do next

Review the evidence, fix what is not working, and leave with a focused plan you can actually keep running.

This is a proposed pilot, not a fixed curriculum. Your feedback will help determine what actually gets built.

03 / WHO IT'S FOR

Built something?
Let's find the buyers.

We're starting narrow on purpose. WSS Solo is being designed around people who can ship software but want better commercial instincts and a repeatable way to find customers.

Does this sound like you? Tell us

Probably a fit

  • You're building AI or B2B software
  • You've got an MVP people can try
  • You need customers, not another feature
  • You're willing to talk to buyers and test

Probably not yet

  • You're still looking for your first idea
  • You want someone to sell for you
  • You only want prompts or recorded lessons
  • You don't want to speak to customers

THE TEAM BEHIND THE IDEA

Same growth thinking.
A different starting line.

WSS Solo is a new idea from We Scale Startups. We've worked with founders on customer research, positioning and acquisition systems. Now we're exploring a version for much earlier, one-person businesses.

Our existing WSS experience is not evidence of results from WSS Solo. This pilot hasn't run yet.

04 / HELP SHAPE IT

Would this actually
help you?

I'm pretty good at helping other founders test ideas. Testing my own is harder. So rather than build something nobody needs, I'd love your honest take.

05 / GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you ask...

It's early. Here's what we know, and what we don't.

Is WSS Solo open for applications?

Not yet. We're shaping the first pilot with founders. The form below is for feedback and early interest, not a commitment or a paid application.

Who is this for?

Primarily solo founders who have launched an AI or B2B software product and now need to find paying customers. You don't need a team or previous marketing experience.

Will there be a fee or equity?

We're testing a founding-cohort price of around £750 for four weeks, with no equity. The final format and price depend on founder feedback. Nothing is on sale yet.

Do I need to be a technical founder?

No, but you should already have something people can try or buy. The proposed pilot focuses on customer acquisition, not helping people develop an idea from scratch.

Will you run marketing for me?

No. The aim is to help you build a practical acquisition system you own, with hands-on guidance and AI-assisted workflows, not create another agency retainer.
